In the week ending Nov. 25, the band's 25 albums moved 48,000 downloads while its songs shifted 696,000 in the U.S. according to Nielsen SoundScan. The entire top 12 positions on this week's Hard Rock Digital Songs tally are AC/DC songs led by "Thunderstruck."
This week on the Billboard 200, Linkin Park triumphed over Maroon 5, securing the rock band its fifth No. 1 album on the chart. The former's new "Living Things" sold 223,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan, while Maroon 5's "Overexposed" shifted 222,000 to enter at No. 2. The pair were among four new arrivals to the top 10, where the "Maybach Music Group Presents: Self Made 2" compilation also started at No. 4 and R. Kelly's "Write Me Back" bowed at No. 5.
