Randy Newman, Heart's Ann and Nancy Wilson, and Tom Waits have filed a $40.5 million copyright-infringement lawsuit against MP3.com, Billboard Bulletin reports. In the suit -- filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles -- the artists, who self-administer the publishing rights to some of their songs, claim MP3.com has illegally copied their catalogs for use on the MyMP3.com digital storage locker service.
