One single raising money for the BBC's Children in Need appeal replaced another at the top of new U.K. singles chart yesterday (March 25). Scottish duo the Proclaimers' remake of their 1988 hit "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" (EMI), featuring comics Peter Kay and Matt Lucas in their TV characters of Brian Potter and Andy Pipkin respectively, climbed 3-1.
